Na svažitém pozemku navrhujeme dům pro mladou rodinu. Umisťujeme ho k severovýchodnímu okraji, aby co největší část pozemku zůstala pro zahradu. Zachováváme také vzrostlé stromy, které jí poskytují soukromí. Do domu se vstupuje přes garáž v suterénu nebo venkovním schodištěm ze zahrady.
Dům rozděluje bílá cihlová zeď na dvě části se dvěma šikmými střechami. Širší část s obytnými místnostmi se otevírá do zahrady, užší část při okraji pozemku obsahuje schodiště a technické zázemí. Směrem do ulice horní patra ustupují za garáž, takže dům působí menší. Horní patro zjemňuje zelený dřevěný obklad.

We are designing a home for a young family on a sloping site. The house sits along the north-eastern edge of the plot, following the line of the neighbouring houses and leaving as much space as possible for the garden. The existing mature trees are retained to provide privacy. The house can be entered through the basement garage or from the garden via an outdoor staircase.
A white-brick wall runs through the house, dividing it into two volumes beneath a pair of mono-pitched roofs. The wider living spaces open onto the garden, while the narrower part along the boundary contains the staircase and service rooms. From the street, the two volumes step apart and the upper floors are set back behind the garage, making the house appear smaller. Green timber battens soften the upper floor.
