Architecture of all kinds.Studio Špaček Stibitz was founded in 2026 by Bibiana Stibitz, Jan Stibitz and Matěj Špaček. We are brought together by our shared studies at UMPRUM, experience gained in several Prague-based studios, and a desire to practise architecture on our own terms.
Our work is centred around the renovation of apartments and houses, but we enjoy moving freely between different scales and typologies. We like discovering the potential of what is already there, working with constraints, and arranging space so that it feels intelligent, distinctive and natural. Rather than strict minimalism, we prefer architecture that is understated, colourful and occasionally playful.
We believe in the authorship of a small team, intelligent conversions, and in the idea that sometimes relatively little is needed for a building or a place to come back to life.
